Mr. Michael Sternberg
Michael Sternberg is a research fellow at the Martin Springer Center for Conflict Studies at Ben-Gurion University. His research focuses on the contribution of dialogue to conflict transformation, and on bottom up strategies to transitional justice. Michael lectures at Ben-Gurion University’s Department of Education on narratives in the Israeli Palestinian conflict. Michael has extensive experience as a consultant and facilitator of conflict transformation initiatives that address the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and conflicts related to migration and Islamophobia in a number of European countries. He facilitates courses in the field of conflict transformation for leaders of civil society organizations and international and local agencies involved in work in and on conflict in Africa, the Middle East, Central and South America, and Europe. He is the coordinator of the International Peacebuilders’ Forum, Initiatives for Change, Caux, Switzerland.
